  1. Not sure where you got that information
  2. I assume you didn’t see it, but yeah we were discussing it earlier
  3. Badminton team is out! https://www.instagram.com/p/DL3mWCHA1ZU/?img_index=1&igsh=MWxsczZzY2tibjY5eA== Victor Lai will be competing!
  4. 5th at the FIBA U19 Men’s World Cup! Lost a tight game to US in the quarterfinals, they were down only one after three quarters, and lost by 6.
  5. We’re also sending decent teams in swimming and taekwondo. Hopefully we can do better than what we did last time, although that’s a really low bar. That can’t be it though, right? Seems a little low if that’s all of them.
  6. @intoronto do you know who the medal contenders are for Canada (don’t think there’s many, but I’m assuming Favour Okpali will be among them), and where I can find a full list of all our names competing?
  7. Elizabeth Tannis with a PB of 11.53 in the women’s 100m at the Ontario Canada Games Summer Trials. Jennifer Elizarov with some strong performances in women’s pole vault, 4.50m at the Royal City Inferno and 4.42m at the Bob Vigars Classic.
  8. Wyatt Lee breaks the U18 NR in the men’s 100m with a 10.34 at the Flying Angels International Track & Field Championship! Tooni Ogunyeye wins with a PB of 10.32.
  9. Swimming at the Aquatics WA World Championships 2025 Singapore (SGP) - 27 July 2025 - 3 August 2025 Official Website Programme Results System Facebook Page Discussion Thread
  10. The opposite for me. I went to Italy for three weeks in summer 2022, and throughout my time there had pizza at least 7 times, pasta at least 7, and gelato at least 10 times. In fact, when I got back home, I ate only Italian food for another half a week But where is on that list? Not that I take anything Tasteatlas says seriously…
  11. Hardly surprising, she barely seems to care about swimming anymore
  12. 20.39m for Sarah Mitton in women’s shot put at the Eugene Diamond League! Also a decent 81.73m performance from Ethan Katzberg in men’s hammer throw, nothing special though
  13. Wilkerson/Humana-Parades advance to the quarterfinals with the 2nd best point differential!
  14. Victoria is ridiculous Just taking over the game
  15. Thamela/Victoria are on fire, holy shit Three aces in a row by Victoria, and a 16-7 lead in set 1
  16. The on screen win predictors suck The calculations are always so off
  17. 5 consecutive losses for Mel/Brandie to Samoilova/Graudina, and their points ratio likely won’t be enough for a spot in the quarterfinals
  18. Warmia Mazury Challenge Women’s Tournament Gold- Maryna Hladun/Tetiana Lazarenko Silver- Linda Bock/Luisa Lippmann Bronze- Aline Chamereau/Clemence Viera Men’s Tournament Gold- Marco Krattiger/Leo Dillier Silver- Michał Bryl/Bartosz Łosiak Bronze- Paul Henning/Leo Wüst Full Results

  22. Busy next few months - VNL (M, July 16-20 week 3, and July 23-27 & July 30-August 3 for W/M Finals) - FIVB Women’s/Men’s U19 World Championships (mainly Canada’s matches, some of the R16/QF matches on July 8-9/July 30 and August 1, and from semis onwards from July 11-13, August 2-3) - Wimbledon and other tennis tournaments - Gstaad Elite 16 (also Montreal Elite 16 from August 13-17 and other beach volleyball tournaments) - World Games (August 6-17) - FISU Summer University Games (July 17-27, skipping the opening ceremony) - AQUA World Aquatics Championships (July 11-August 3) - WA World Athletics Championships (September 13-21) - Athletics (mainly DL’s, aka Eugene, Monaco, and London) - Women’s and Men’s Volleyball World Championships (Aug 22-Sep 7, Sep 12-28) - Women’s and Men’s U19 Basketball World Cup Probably other stuff that I’m missing.
  23. I see Shapo is out already… not surprising at all, he has the mental toughness of a 5 year-old baby
  24. Who are the favourites for the Women’s U18 Worlds? @Federer91 @hoversaBR have got to be among them, surely
