Erin Brooks with a perfect 10 wave at the Gold Coast stop of the WSL Challenger Tour (she also ended up winning the event afterwards) So good that it probably would have also been a 10 in the men’s event. Watching this brings back unhappy memories of the ISA Surf Games though, I’m still really disappointed with the lack of quotas that we won.

Forgot to do an update on this yesterday but in pool A, has advanced to the semifinals. will take on in around 15 minutes for the second semifinal spot.

HSBC SVNS Singapore is on right now. Wouldn’t normally mention any of the action before the event ends unless any big wins happen, but I just wanted to discuss something. What’s going on with our men’s team? In Singapore, they started off with close loses to New Zealand (22-17, off a last minute try by Kitiona Vay) and Australia (21-14), which are good results. Can’t read too much into that though, usually they play at least one close match every event against a strong team, and then finish in dead last. That shouldn’t be happening.

Still one more World Cup to go before Paris in Markham, from May 31 to June 2, so technically if they keep improving by 8 points they’d be at 271

As for the starts of the game, it’d have to be Arturs Silovs, Juuse Saros, and Pius Suter. Shoutout to Tyler Myers as well (never thought I’d be saying that in a playoff game lol), he saved the game with his huge dick at the end. Looked painful though, he couldn’t even celebrate when the Canucks won.
