  1. For Canada, great legs for Lauren Gale and Callum Robinson in particular. Hopefully Gilbert doesn’t switch them out on day 2.
  2. Quotas for and in the mixed 4x400m relay
  3. Women’s 4x400m relay is the only event I can think of? So I’m not sure where he’s getting the “relays” part from.
  4. Quotas for and in the mixed 4x400m relay
  5. Men’s 4x100m relay squad will be the same exact four as expected. Aaron Brown, Jerome Blake, Brendon Rodney, and Andre DeGrasse.
  6. Taking a page out of my book I see
  7. Even if we were in heat 1 of the mixed 4x400m relay and heat 4 of the women’s 4x400m relay I don’t think any athletes would double up.
  8. Another bronze in women’s duet technical. 238.2376, about a point shy of Doha.
  9. 1:46.93 for Abdullahi Hassan in the men’s 800m at the Wisconsin Alumni Classic!
  10. Erin Brooks with a perfect 10 wave at the Gold Coast stop of the WSL Challenger Tour (she also ended up winning the event afterwards) So good that it probably would have also been a 10 in the men’s event. Watching this brings back unhappy memories of the ISA Surf Games though, I’m still really disappointed with the lack of quotas that we won.
  11. Had a chance to take on Brazil (no offence) but instead we get Germany lol.
  12. New WL for Tara Davis-Woodhall in women’s long jump, with 7.16m at the Arkansas Twilight! Third result over 7.05m this year, and is looking like the clear favourite for Olympic gold in Paris.
  13. Still up at 4am?
  14. Forgot to do an update on this yesterday but in pool A, has advanced to the semifinals. will take on in around 15 minutes for the second semifinal spot.
  15. Every time I go back to this thread, I get some not so happy flashbacks of what happened at the ISA Worlds (…) but really needed to share this beauty of a wave by Erin Brooks at the WSL Gold Coast Challenger Series! So good that it probably would’ve been a perfect 10 even in the men’s event.
  16. HSBC SVNS Singapore is on right now. Wouldn’t normally mention any of the action before the event ends unless any big wins happen, but I just wanted to discuss something. What’s going on with our men’s team? In Singapore, they started off with close loses to New Zealand (22-17, off a last minute try by Kitiona Vay) and Australia (21-14), which are good results. Can’t read too much into that though, usually they play at least one close match every event against a strong team, and then finish in dead last. That shouldn’t be happening.
  17. Still one more World Cup to go before Paris in Markham, from May 31 to June 2, so technically if they keep improving by 8 points they’d be at 271
  18. As for the starts of the game, it’d have to be Arturs Silovs, Juuse Saros, and Pius Suter. Shoutout to Tyler Myers as well (never thought I’d be saying that in a playoff game lol), he saved the game with his huge dick at the end. Looked painful though, he couldn’t even celebrate when the Canucks won.
  19. P.S @vinipereira thank you for creating the Canucks flag emoticon for me
