I would love to see Canada medal in some unexpected events. Fencing? Archery? Sailing? One of them would be fun. 
 

A medal for the men’s swimming relays would be great.

@Oldira oh, i just love this " Rome 1960 " book by David Maraniss. I may even call it the best olympic book I have ever read - at least among English language books.

(David Wallechinsky is a seperate category...)

No idea. we do not have outside medal chances behind the many times mentioned max 5-6 possibilities we eventually can in a very good day win.

I think the biggest fun for me would be a medal in individual running event in athletics. Last time we had it was 1980 :-(

I don't think it is very realistic though but maybe M 1500m ...

any medal in any other sport beside our big 3. specially by female athletes.

 

I'm afraid we don't have much chance this time, Abedini in fencing was one touch away from the final. lost the semifinal 15-14 :( probably the biggest Olympic disappointment for me.

A medal in weightlifting. Apart from a single medal at one of the boycott Olympics we haven't won one since Louis Martin won back-to-back medals in 1960 and 64. At least one of the women has a chance.

      Shades of 1998 with  and  in the same group but this time it's really a terrible draw for the Thistles. I recall Brazil and Scotland played in the same group in 1974 and 1990 too so that's quite a high probabiliy rate.
