yes they weer strong in 2016-2017 , 5th in the olympics ........ but recently 4th in the continent ( beaten by Chile !!!! ) and then 14th in the world cup .......They have been terrible and had a horrible couple of years ( I hope their horrible run continues till the end of the year

umm... A correction United States beat Chile 5-1 in the third place playoff match and hence finished third
