I wasn't ready. :(

I get one can feel the need to present condolences to the british people but do you really feel any significant emotional connection to a foreign monarch?

Emotional? No, I feel that connection not even for the representatives of my own country. :d

But I had enormous respect for her and I think she will be missed for everything she represented.

She died only five months later of her husband, RIP, i respect her like politician but its dificult to find somebody in my country who is sad remembering what she represent for argentinians.

There are a lot of memes now about her competition with Mirta Legrand ( a very old television host) and now Mirta "wins" the treasure of the hellfish.

Her husband died more than a year ago, not five months.

I think most people here simply don't care (neither positive or negative way), it's just jokes.

RIP :( the queen is dead, long live the king.

The last time she was in Slovakia, she threw the opening face-off puck to open a match in Poprad :d

Actually Her Majesty was a qualified mechanic so if your car got damaged, she could probably have helped you out. In fact she is probably the only head of state who would have the ability to strip an engine

    • the quata for europe or australia is from the primer 12, where the top 20 teams will participate, sadly  is the 21th team so the only slight chance for us in my opinion is if: we get top 2 at the european championship (not including  hopefully if they get the quata), then somehow win the final qualification tournament against i assume  and one of    the chances for us are slim, i think about 4 other team sports  have a better chance in in my opinion(and the most team sports we ever had was one, and it was the last two time after a long time )

    • well, Cuba and Venezuela for sure...   Iran is a different question, but I hope in 2 years all this war shit is done and dusted and at least in the sports world everything is gonna be OK
    • In my opinion the Italian team has been playing above expectations since last year after several years of decline. Last year, we advanced to the first division at the European Championships and now they're playing very close matches against the strong India and Scotland. We a little miss a potential to do more – we are only 18th in the world rankings. Our men's team's performance in this sport is much weaker.
    • I wonder if all Cuba, Iran and Venezuela will be able to travel and compete in LA at all... Hopefully that yes.
    • There was some initial disappointment at first, but got over it quite quickly.    Happy for  and I hope they can win a medal in LA with their MLB players there!
