But I think the first tie breaker is total runs. It just goes to earned runs because total runs are tied between Canada and PR. -

Venezuela has given up 12 runs in 108 innings. For Canada to earn the Olympic quota, they need Japan to win and score 3 or more runs. Otherwise Venezuela gets the quota. -
Maybe if they can pull off a miracle like they did in 2024 The answer is probably not, though. -

While I still want Canada to qualify, I wouldn't be too upset if Venezuela got the spot. IMO they've been the second best Pan American nation behind the Dominican Republic. Unfortunately they got Japan. Though given their play, the match is still in play.
