Carolina Rieuwpassa, died on 16 March in her hometown of Makassar.

 

She is the first Indonesian female athlete to compete in more than 1 edition of Olympic Games (1972 & 1976)

He was found lifeless after a trip in MTB in an almost accessible area.

 

He was only 48.

 

He was a pioneer of Italian MTB sport, Junior World and European champion in 1993, U21 World champion in 1996.

 

Bronze medallist at the MTB Marathon World Championships in 2005 and 3rd in the World Cup Ranking in the same year.
