Nice podium, finally another one for Rastorgujevs!

And same for Fillon-Maillet, who had awful Winter Games.

And a 'revenge' for Shipulin :d

Apparently first race of the season for Rastorgujevs where he didn't miss?

And podium as a reward. :)

Great for Anton and Ole too, and amazing race time for Eberhard...?

More like what he has been showing before (the last two seasons mostly), and with 30 people within one minute of skiing time, nobody really dominated that part :p

I'm mostly impressed by Yeremin. He's known as probably the fastest junior since JTB, but doing this on World Cup level is impressive. If only he would have one single day where he shoots decent...

For anyone, who wondered why Fillon-Maillet seemed so out of form at Pyeongchand. He answered it at the end of the press conference today.

For those who don't want the effort of finding the press conference and listening until the right moment: QFM's girlfriend has cancer.

I didn't think it was necessary to write it...

Well I guessed it was something personal, but that still got me curious as to what it actually was so I looked it up. No harm in writing it then.

    • The only ones complaining about the short track refs are Italians, imo. Not even on this forum, but in general, from what I've been seeing on live chats and other social media sites. That says a lot to be honest. I suspect it's partially due to them not performing to the high standard they're expected to perform at especially at the Olympics. The refs make a lot of mistakes for everyone, there's no bias against or towards anyone    Plus, Italy have won 6 medals already.... the most you've won at a Worlds since 2016.
    • For me they gave Canada the gold in the relay in exchange for a 1000-meter dsq gold for Dandjinou, that's how I see it. It was a battle between Kor and Can on 2 of this case. It's hard to say why that last dsq for Kor was in relay? Of course, Italy win bronze thanks for that, but that's not really important. It would have been better if the referees had just stayed out of the results and left it as it was decided for fight on the ice.

    • the quata for europe or australia is from the primer 12, where the top 20 teams will participate, sadly  is the 21th team so the only slight chance for us in my opinion is if: we get top 2 at the european championship (not including  hopefully if they get the quata), then somehow win the final qualification tournament against i assume  and one of    the chances for us are slim, i think about 4 other team sports  have a better chance in in my opinion(and the most team sports we ever had was one, and it was the last two time after a long time )

    • well, Cuba and Venezuela for sure...   Iran is a different question, but I hope in 2 years all this war shit is done and dusted and at least in the sports world everything is gonna be OK
    • In my opinion the Italian team has been playing above expectations since last year after several years of decline. Last year, we advanced to the first division at the European Championships and now they're playing very close matches against the strong India and Scotland. We a little miss a potential to do more – we are only 18th in the world rankings. Our men's team's performance in this sport is much weaker.
