 Canada qualified 373 athletes + 9 alternates in team sports per the new IOC rule for these games, for a total of 382 athletes (149 men and 233 women). This is the third largest amount of athletes Canada has qualified for one games after Montreal 1976 and Los Angeles 1984. This means this is the largest team ever qualified excluding hosting or boycotted games. Barring any last minute reallocation, this should be the final team size.
