They played horribly in the first quarter or so (I mean, they were just as good as Spain, but they missed every single chance whereas Spain scored every single chance) and that was just too much to make up for Even when they dominated Q3 and it seemed like they were coming back, Spain did well to use a 2-woman-advantage to get their lead back. Unfortunately Spain apparently didn't make a lot of fouls, at least not so many fouls as our girls made. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
