ALG had 2 red cards from previous match + 2 injured players , they were in bad situation , otherwise the score will be large

lucky teams in the same group with Qatar in WC

Yes, it's obvious the Qatar group will be a desired destination for anyone outside Pot 1 during the draw ( I assume the hosts will be in that pot by design). Any team from Europe/South America or even Africa could advance into the knockout round. Qatar has bought enough foreigners to look competitive in handball but football is a different ball game :p

Great news!

The 10 Conmebol teams are going to play in the Nations League starting from 2024.

If Boniek is quoted here than it's a done deal.

Huge chance for some European teams to finally play the elusive :VEN  :p

It's the only CONMEBOL nation Poland has never played before (and we had a discussion about these games few months back).

All the games would be played in Europe, which is kinda wack. I'd like to see us playing in Bolivia :d

Bolivia & Venezuela will probably be placed in B division so there is more chance someone like Slovakia draws them? :p@hckošice

@hckošice Well, you can always advance to B level come 2024? :p The same way Poland probably drops to B level and somehow gets to play Venezuela.

by 2024 I see us rather  in Division D to be honest :d but who care about this competition, the only positive side of this league of nations is the mega-izzy path to EURO through division play-offs, like we did qualify for this year EURO :p

    • Yeah, we have such a strong crop of Juniors, that we can’t take them all. They all have exciting trajectories but to predict what Junior swimmers will is always difficult. Better to let them all swim together at Juniors than rocketing them all up to seniors and swimming a prelim and going home.
    • Hanlon is the most unlucky, in my opinion. Aside from relay cover, she's the 50m champ and they made a point of including consideration for those events being in LA for the other discretionary picks. Essentially she has the same case for selection as Max Morgan (albeit without the trajectory right now).   Blocksidge's form was way off this week (compared to her previous bests). Obviously being still young you could put that down to relative inexperience. Still, she has World and European Juniors that she could still be selected for this summer. There's an argument that performing well at those might be as beneficial as going to Singapore.   That said, I'm happy that they did take a bunch of discretionary picks. That's not always been the case.
