They were a dozen of vélodromes built in northern Africa, the better exemple being the Stade Municipal in Algiers (opened in 1930, 400m track, host of a six days race, etc...)

 

 

 

The stadium still exist today, the track is still there but probably hasn't been used in decades.

UCI decided to changed host of the World Championships, the event is moved from  Ashgabat to  Glasgow. For now the championships have to be held between 13rd-17th October

Rumour says the world championships could move to the Roubaix vélodrome !!!!

The Rouaix vélodrome like in the indoor vélodrome next to the real thing. So yeah, whatever.
