Watching Greece play in these friendlies, I'm thinking Montenegro or Lithuania for QF spot from groups C and D alongside Americans

I mean, if New Zealand was stronger... But it's not, they'll pass initial group.

Brazil beat Australia a few days ago. If it wasn't for Canada, we would have chances to go to the Olympics.

in the second round Spain, Brazil, France, Canada will be at the same group, so 2 of these teams will be out of QF and regarding their quality they all deserve to be (or could be) ..

Germany's biggest weakness is that they have no good backup for Schröder. Lo is infinitely worse than he was just last one year ago. At least one out of Schröder and F. Wagner always needs to be on the floor for Germany. Germany with Reaves would have been the favorite.

:roflmao::roflmao: Even if Germany had Reaves, US would still be the favorite.

Obviously not, but you would only know that if you would have watched the Germany vs. USA match. Even without Reaves Germany looked better than Canada and if you would have taken Reaves off the US team and would have put him on the german team, then Germany easily would have won against the US on the second night of a back to back.

    • It's hard to believe it was still in this calendar year
    • In last year, we were were happy with Brignone's wins, and today we're excite that della Mea is in the top 10... It's hard to imagine a bigger fall... And Goggia should give up on the giant slalom and focus on the speed events – Vonn isn't wasting time on the giant slalom, but is training for downhill and SG. Goggia last one finished on the podium in the giant slalom in march 2018, and she has no any chance of winning an Olympic medal at the regular competition. It's a waste of time and energy to finish 8th or 9th and risk injury. And we have to accept that without Brignone, we have no chance of winning a medal in the giant slalom in Cortina, and that's it.
    • yeah, just like Anna Trocker earlier Today   I think this is the best way to blow them    they're not ready for the world cup stage yet, but we're so bad right now that our coaches are digging deep
    • Some surprises and fun results so far at this year's Worlds. Like a few minutes ago, when  Harrysson made the 1/8 with another very good performance. Now he plays Jonny Clayton, who this afternoon made a stellar performance in a tough battle with Zonneveld. I don't see an easy match for Clayton, even though on paper he would have wished such an opponent for a 1/8 before the tournament.   Also i'm delighted that my fav Gary Anderson seems to be in good form, though at his age, he is prone to sudden bad matches at any time.
