heywoodu 13,611 Posted April 12, 2016 #63 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Who qualifies for the KO-round, group winners or the first two of each group? If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! dcro 10,189 Posted April 13, 2016 #66 Share Posted April 13, 2016 Semifinals for Middle and West Asian qualifying tournaments. Other regional tournaments aren't really interesting because the winners are quite obvious (China in East, Singapore in South East and India in South) Middle Asia Men's Nima Alamian vs. Afshin Noroozi Kirill Gerassimenko vs. Noshad Alamyan Women's Olga Kim vs. Nataliya Sladkova Rimma Gufranova vs. Neda Shahsavari West Asia Men's Li Ping vs. Zaid Abo Yaman Ali Alkhadraiwi vs. Abdulaziz Al-Abbad Women's Mariana Sahakian vs. Bara Al-Wedian Malak Khory vs. Aia Mohamed #banbestmen

MantaRaymarc 76 Posted April 14, 2016 Author #70 Share Posted April 14, 2016 (edited) I have a question. I assume China might win the place coming from the East Asia zone, and then suddenly two more Chinese table tennis players also secure the remaining spots at the Asian OQT. What will happen to the spots? Based on the rules, only two table tennis players are permitted to compete in the men's singles, and then other one will be eligible to the team competition instead.
