Still, hoping for a wild card. But I fear it won't be possible if Guzmán qualifies tomorrow. If I have to choose between the two, I think I would prefer Guzmán making the olympics since for me he would have a bigger chance for a medal. There's still hope for Crismanich, if there are no countries in that division that can apply for the Wild Card. Back in 2008, Iridia Salazar (MEX) failed to qualify to the Games, and even when Mexico ahd another 3 places, WTF voted to award her the wild card based on her previous results (she had been world champion and medalist in Athens), but in the end, she and the Federation decided to return the place. JoshMartini007 2,538 Posted March 11, 2016 #65 Share Posted March 11, 2016 Big chance for Honduras to qualify in the women's +67kg. Hopefully Canada can qualify today (the draws in general are pretty good)
dcro 10,210 Posted March 11, 2016 #66 Share Posted March 11, 2016 Well done Aruba and Panama! Looks like women's 49kg is a dream category for new nations. So far, three nations will be making their Olympic debut after qualifying in women's 49kg (DR Congo, Cape Verde and Aruba). #banbestmen
JoshMartini007 2,538 Posted March 11, 2016 #67 Share Posted March 11, 2016 I'm surprised the refugee team didn't participate here. I know there were a few reports of a couple from Brazil thinking about it.
