I took a look at the qualification system and the women get an extra spot per event, probably to get the athlete totals to be equal among men and women.

Good performance from our boy in equestrian. He was faultless in the entire competition (team & individual) up to the jump-off, riding what according to him was an "average" horse.

 

Medal for Honduras I think, nice for them.

by the way, the only "famous" name (in terms of past equestrian events) in the competition (Jack Whitaker) didn't even make the top 20...
