It may not make much sense to many foreigners, but within the political establishment these Olympics are seen as a dress rehearsal for Rome 2036/2040. Let’s hope for the best..

Enjoyed it... but good grief they dragged that out. Longest winter opening ceremony ever at 3:30 (Vancouver next closest at just over 3 hours)... over an hour longer than Beijing and PyeongChang

I think parade was longer that usually in Winter games. But it was nice these 4 parades togerher but with some delay. I was affraid that they will come simultanously.
