Nothing screams "players health and wellbeing" as adding more frequent tournaments with more matches.

Still, the LA system is better, than the Paris one, which is good. I'm happy we are getting the Continental quotas being the first ones allocated, as it ALWAYS should be.

Volleyball still has too many international competitions, but remembering the nightmare of olympic qualification up to Tokyo with its multiple and way too long qualification tournaments, it'a giant step in the right direction.

Insidethegames has gone downhill

The bidding process for the 2025 World Championships is set to begin next month while host candidacies will be accepted in April 2024 and August of the same year for the 2027 and 2029 events, respectively.

Yeah, not sure if they are using AI to write stuff, but you should really review the work (regardless if it was AI or human generated).

2027 men's World Champs awarded to Poland, 2029 to Qatar

2027 women's World Champs going to Canada and USA (the final 8 will be played at the currently named Honda Center in Anaheim, where also the whole Volleyball Olympic tournaments will be held), 2029 Champs are still TBD

Poland again? Italy could host the Women's World Championships, especially since we now have a boom in this sport and not only in large cities like Milan and Rome, but also in Cagliari, etc.

I come from Poland, and I see from my friends that this sport is attracting less and less interest there, despite its strong succes. At the beginning of the 21st century, there were fewer successes, but more people were interested this sport. By organizing more and more events only there, the FIVB is only ruining the sport. I'm surprised Poland is getting involved, but politics probably plays a negative role, as usual.

I think it's more about money

the Polish NF has a lot of money to spend, like Turkiye's

Yes, in both Poland and Turkey, state-owned public concern invest money in this sport (in Italy only the private sector), but Turkey still invests much more, per me. Surprisingly, Turkey doesn't want to host the Women's World Championship in its own country, but investing more in their clubs and transfers there a big stars. Poland invests more in the NT and organizing tournaments there, less in their club budgets.

Well, just like what happened in handball, Qatar should move up a few levels by 2029 if you know what I mean.
