ahhh so many, not even sure where to start.

 

As I'm learning Norwegian, I tend to also cheer for some of Norwegians (will be so happy to see Karsten Warholm running below WR and earning a silver medal behind Alison dos Santos )

Timo Cavelius on judo would be the first name that comes to mind -  and other LGBTQ athletes (but I also tend to support German judokas as well)

I also love athletes from countries that have not yet won medals or gold medals!

following too many sports, I have too many favourite athletes, also among those from foreign Countries

 

just to name a few (random, not in particular order),  Field Hockey teams, especially the women,  women's handball team,  Rikako Ikee (swimming),  Janja Garnbret (sport climbing),  Uta Abe (judo),  Nino Schurter (mountain bike),  Aron Szilagyi and  Olga Kharlan (fencing)

 

but this is just a short list...

Well actually, there’s so many that I can’t list them all off the top of my head….

 

If I do, by the time I’m actually finished listing them I’d probably age around 50 years

Haha, I was more referring to someone who has a story similar to his, 

How he never had even seen an Olympic sized swimming pool before but went on to compete and even win a heat, it was and still is a crazy story.

 

Im now interested if there would be someone like that competing in the swimming in Paris 🧐
