thats sad, i understand barcelona and all, but i think Messi should've played here and not the copa, i know he have a gold medal..... (btw did he play in 2008?)

Yes, he did.

 

Olympics is seen as a minor competition for male footballers, it's never going to be the priority for them unless there isn't any other international tournament the same summer.

It will never happen because of the euro's, unless fifa completley changes the schedule and moves the world cup forward one year , the clubs will never agree to send all players to euro and olympics the same year, will never happen

The Brazilian mens NT beat Japan by 2-0 on Saturday.

 

The game was in the Serra Dourada Stadium (which will not be used in the Olympics), and the pitch was very bad. But I really like what I saw, the squad is very good and creative. I was quite excited.

I just hope that  VS  won't be something like what men Germany team did to Brazil in world cup 2014. I plan to watch this game as I plan to watch  VS . In both matches I'm rooting for the African teams
