She made it as last qualified LL ! Semifinal woo-hoo

 

in other hand our second athlete Stanislava Škvarková with 8.11 ended first non-qualified  So close of having 2 slovaks in semifinal, who would have thought that

 Thea Lafond wins  their first athletics world title in the women's triple jump with a WL of 15.01m!! If she replicates this in Paris she's a good shout at being on the podium.

Excellent job by whoever made the timetable to place the high jump final outside of the main programs, this is an excellent final and it now gets all the airtime it deserves

First athletics world title, but....might it be their first ever world title in any sport? Just like with  Saint Lucia I'd have no idea where Dominica might ever have won a world title in an internationally recognized sport..
