Josh 5,813 Posted February 12 Author #93 Share Posted February 12 Does anyone know what is South Africa’s criteria for accepting their Olympic quota? Is it possible if someone can email them, inquiring about the matter?
james89 447 Posted February 12 #94 Share Posted February 12 There was some chatter about this in the Artistic Swimming thread that referenced an article I couldnt find.

I hope declines their quota atp Greece defeat Italy 14-12 in the other semifinal, so assuming South Africa doesn’t decline their Olympic quota, Canada’s hopes are still alive. On Wednesday, Canada will take on Australia, while Italy will take on Netherlands.
Josh 5,813 Posted February 12 Author #96 Share Posted February 12 I hate that we keep relying on other teams for quotas. Hoping for a winner takes all battle against Italy in either the 5th or 7th place match. orangeman

Crazy to think that her time probably won’t even be enough for a medal this time around. orangeman
Topicmaster1010 2,393 Posted February 12 #99 Share Posted February 12 One year ago, if you told me that we would get 3 women under the 100m breaststroke OQT, there's no way I would've believed you. So now we're at: Angus: 1:06.66 Branton: 1:06.59 Lepage: 1:06.58 Looking like the race of the meet at Canadian trials intoronto and Josh
JoshMartini007 2,227 Posted February 12 #100 Share Posted February 12 Looks like Swimming Canada put a lot of resources into the breaststroke so we can have a great medley relay. Too bad freestyle and to a lesser extent backstroke has regressed a bit. I still feel good about the prospect of a bronze medal, but surpassing Australia and the United States remains tough Josh and Surlympics
