Yeah, but who pay for the time lost by Simona? I have a message for Mouratoglou but is better to not write it here because Sindo will delete it:p I say only one thing: now we know why Serena was the best athlete in the Universe so much time:sick::sick::sick:

Nobody will. She's lucky CAS is a lap dog of an organisation. This case pretty much proves money buys you justice and I wonder how WTA will try to sweep this under the carpet and how many of players will speak against Halep on her return. I suspect Eugenie Bouchard would if only she wasn't so irrelevant these days.

I always liked her but think it's weird she got less time than Sharapova, and also they should've just made it 18 months. Now it's sad that she could've played sooner but they didn't have the decision in time?!

Anyways I'm happy to see her back, hopefully she will be in Paris as she had to miss both Rio and Tokyo...

It'd be something...missing one Olympics by choice, missing another due to injury...and then actually going to one because of escaping a significant doping ban :p

And in today's news: she's going with the 'it came from sex' defense. So they're throwing her partner Race Imboden under the bus, but considering he is retired anyway, I'm sure he doesn't care :p

Dutch media for some reason seems to have a weird focus on specifically mentioning oral sex. Like they want to make it more, you know, juicy :p

Interesting headline they chose

"French Olympic fencer says she failed drugs test due to contamination from her partner’s bodily fluids"

    • I'll post significant changes periodically. I'll start with the recently added/updated documents.   Archery The addition of mixed compound (12M & 12W) forced a reduction on the recurve side. The mixed compound quotas are distributed as follows   Host - 1 World Championships - 3 Continental Games - 5 World Ranking List - 2 Final Qualifier - 1   To compensate the team events will now only have 8 nations. 2 quotas were removed from the World Ranking List and 2 were removed from the Final Qualifier.   Individual recurve and mixed recurve distribution is the same
    • In Rome, it would be useful to roof the swimming pool complex at Foro Italico, possibly with the option of retracting the roof and covering the tennis court complex. Overall, there's a lot to do, for example, compared to Budapest, but unfortunately, this is Italy How many years has Roma been building their new stadium, and they keep pushing back the completion date- now I read it's 2030? and it should be ready. The same goes for Milan- there should be a modern complex of indoor swimming pools with 50 meters pools, etc., but there's a problem with one stupid football stadium, which will only be built after an ultimatum from UEFA

She wasn’t a top-tier athlete in that program anymore. She was at the end of her career. I would personally would rather race against Katie. She’s not as competitive as the other athletes,” he said. “It’s probably really unfair to say and not really where I want to go with this but that’s where we are with that.”   Uhlaender: “If I were Canada, I would be concerned in how this coach is representing the Olympic values for his country,” Uhlaender told Fox News Digital. “He hurt a whole field of athletes, all with dreams, and this sends the message that they don’t matter unless they are number one. All athletes matter, and we all deserve to compete fairly, with integrity, and respect. He did not respect anyone in that field. “This is not about my resume or how good the athletes were in the race. This is about the fact that he intentionally manipulated the competition to hurt myself and 13 other countries because he felt it necessary to eliminate all possibility. That is against the spirit of sport and not what the Olympic movement represents.”   Isn't it great when other people's dirty laundry is aired?  /sarcasm     (I was a little surprised to see NPR pick this up, but per this article, Uhlaender preemptively recorded the phone call after receiving a text from Cecchini that said he had 'bad news' for her.)
