Dutch cyclist Antwan Tolhoek has tested positive....for steroids

Seriously, the rider who in Dutch cycling circles is called 'Child soldier' because of his tiny appearance, gets caught for steroids :d

Edit: I had forgotten for this season he had made the switch to one of those super shady Portuguese continental teams, where generally they sprint up the mountains until they get caught and/or the team gets disbanded due to investigations. Oh well, matter of time then, he didn't even make it past the first winter :p

Nope, that's a teenager i refuse to acccept anything else being the case

Yeah, that's what we as Dutch cycling fans have been saying for about 10 years now, and only 10 years ago that was actually true :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

:RUS Kamila Valieva (figure skating) banned for four years dating back to December 2021.

As documents now show, the Russians tried to blame it on, I kid you not, a strawberry dessert Valieva's granddad made for her on the same cutting board he uses to crushes his heart medication (for which no prescription or any kind of evidence could be found), which Valieva then supposedly took with her all the way to the national championships

This is Sara "my mom's medication fell in the pasta sauce" Errani or Adri "the pigeon meat was tainted" van der Poel level nonsense :d

Further details from russian journalists looking through the CAS descision:

An interesting circumstance was noticed by representatives of the ISU. They checked the geography and found out: Kamila Valiyeva lives 200 meters from the training rink. At the same time, the grandfather drove two hours in one direction every day to drive her these 200 meters by car. Yes, yes, having heart problems and operations in the anamnesis.

A funny detail: in the decision it is mentioned that Solovyev lived in «the village of Lukashenko». In fact, there is no such settlement in Russia.

The Russian Anti-Doping Agency has decided as a result of the investigation that there is no evidence from Valieva that Gennady Solovyev exists at all.

Gennady Solovyev is the name of her "granddad". But at the same time he ... is not her granddad according to the evidences.

Village of Lukashenko, using the name Solovyev (that propaganda dude who keeps yelling Russia needs to nuke the western world), very clearly some trolling from whoever came with this story :p

Its just a provisional ban not definitly

True  - but all bans are provisional until they the governing body has a hearing to see if the athlete is guilty or not.
