Lewis Clareburt :NZL produced a world leading 4:08.71 in the 400 IM at Sydney Open this evening. Not a particularly important meet especially for a Kiwi so you have to think he'll be faster in Paris.

Greek National Championships this weekend. After 18 yo Siskos broke the NR in Doha in the men's 200 backstroke with 1:56.64, now Christou takes the record back with 1:56.34! Good to have such competition in that event and hopefully one of them will break the record again in Belgrade and Paris.

Great time by Anderson!

Depth in W 100m Back is looking great for Australia

It isnt just the Kaylee show and 2nd spot at the trials will be exciting

MOC - 58.0 Will she swim it?

Seebohm - 58.2 Shes back?

Anderson -58.5

Barclay -59.2 Still a junior swimmer

Fredericks -59.6

And will Minna Atherton be back?

MOC's gonna go 57 at trials if she can swim straight.

Seebohm doesn't have enough time left to get into that kind of form but she plans to swim on after Paris and she's progressing consistently in the right direction so maybe next year?

Anderson might even go faster!

Ditto Barclay and Fredericks.

Be surprised if Atherton is any quicker than 59 high. She might even be done tbh.

I agree about MOC.

She swum that 58.0 in pouring rain hitting the ropes all the way.

The W100m back seems to be dominated by AUS,USA and a Canadian over the past 2-3 years

its possible that 58 low wont even make an Australian or US Olympic team
