I’m assuming the state legislature said that had to be on flag. No motto should ever be on a flag, especially one that reads “In God We Trust” when religious freedom is guaranteed in said country.

The best troll flags were the one written in all Arabic, and the once that included the hammer & sickle

And the Chinese flag defaced with 'by god we trust in communism' too

Just use Norway's flag defaced with the seal... Confederate looking and Christian enough :p

I don’t know, I’d thought the subtle rip-off of DRC’s flag was nice too :p

Massive explosion in Beirut. The video I’ve seen is horrific, but I haven’t be able to find any verification of its authenticity. From the authentic reports I’ve seen, there is widespread damage throughout the city.

From those videos which I saw all looks serious and authentic, all media and news TV channels here now reporting about this and shows those videos.

Edit: According some people the explosion was heard even in eastern Cyprus.

At the beginning I thought it was an accident of a firework factory, but it couldn't explain the massive explosion afterward. It's way too terrible like a nuclear bomb.

Oh they are true. I mean, one video, sure, have doubts...but tons and tons of videos from literally every angle (flats, streets, even boats)...that's real. And big. That was absolutely insane..

That definitely fits with a fireworks factory. It's how parts of the Dutch city of Enschede were decimated in 2000 - fire, lots of small explosions and then a huge devastating explosing when the whole thing went up.

    • so, the 2025 season is officially over, after the World Cup Finals have been completed with the Shotgun events, where (once again!!!) a new format for the final stage of each event has been experimented for the first time (before it becomes a regular feature in the next season)   the new format enlarge the starting field in each event's final stage to 8 shooters and dramatically shortens the number of target shots to decide the placings   the only characteristic remaining is the progressive eliminations principle   now, as written above, 8 shooters make the final, where after only 12 targets the eliminations start: by then, the last 2 shooters must leave the competition (7th and 8th ranked)   after 12 more targets (24 in total), 2 more shooters have to leave the final (5th and 6th ranked)   then, the crazy carousel starts: every 4 targets we have a new elimination  so, after 28 targets, the 4th ranked shooter is done; after 32 targets the bronze medallist is known and after only 36 targets (provided there's no need for a shoot-off), compared to the previous 60, the gold and silver medallists are crowned   I guess the tiktok people with the attention span of a chinchilla have won once again
