Ultima e decisiva partita lo scontro diretto di Domenica sera contro la Polonia, chi vincerà il testa a testa staccherà il biglietto per i Giochi Olimpici, chi perderà dovrà aggrapparsi al ranking FIVB che determinerà le ultime cinque ammesse alla rassegna a cinque cerchi.

 

Altra partita decisiva USA vs Germania.

ITALIA SI QUALIFICA ALLE OLIMPIADI SE…

• Batte la Polonia con qualsiasi risultato.
• Perde per 3-0 contro la Polonia e gli USA perdono contro la Germania per 3-0 o 3-1.
• Perde per 3-1 contro la Polonia e gli USA perdono contro la Germania per 3-0 o 3-1.
• Perde per 3-2 contro la Polonia e gli USA perdono contro la Germania per 3-0, 3-1 o 3-2.

Dopo questo fallimento, il pass per Parigi 2024 potrà arrivare grazie al ranking FIVB del 17 Giugno 2024, che determinerà le ultime cinque ammesse a Parigi 2024: un posto spetterà al Kenya in qualità di migliore Africana, un altro sarà di diritto di una Asiatica (Cina o Giappone), gli altri tre saranno liberi.

 

Al momento L'italia è quinta e davanti ha quattro nazioni già qualificate (Turchia, Serbia, USA, Brasile); dietro a noi non qualificate Cina e Giappone (con un posto Asia sicuro), l'altra Asiatica, Olanda, Canada e Germania.

Ufficiale : Julio Velasco nominato commissario tecnico della pallavolo femminile

 

L’incarico di Velasco partirà dal 1° gennaio, questo il commento del presidente federale Giuseppe Manfredi: “Siamo molto contenti che Julio abbia accettato la nostra proposta. Siamo convinti che affidare la nazionale femminile a un tecnico del suo spessore sia in questo momento la scelta migliore.
Ci sono tutti i presupposti affinché questo nuovo percorso possa regalarci soddisfazioni, sicuramente porterà un contributo importante, come è sempre stato, alla causa azzurra.”

 

La conferenza stampa di presentazione si terrà martedì 21 novembre alle ore 14, presso il Centro Federale Pavesi di Milano.
