Big crowds on a Tuesday morning session for athletics at the Commonwealths…. this is how it should be :). Eugene being referred to as track town is a joke when you look at this.

The mega joke is coming this World Cup of SOCCER in North America

soccer :roflmao:

soccer in stadiums of baseball:lol:

This joke displays an ignorance of both the venue plan for the 2026 World Cup and of the etymology of the word “soccer”.

More exciting bowls as :IND lead :RSA at halfway in the women’s fours.

South Africa takes the lead. Fingers crossed for an Indian win....which would be their first ever gold medal in this sport

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.
