We do have online delivery of essential items in Bangalore, India but its delayed. We had ordered on Sunday but its scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. Normally lead time of online delivery of groceries in Tier I cities is not more than a day

Also unsure about the old age people if they are just living together , with no transport or vehicle it's not going to be easy.

Yeah it's hard to think about what is the more dangerous situation: cultures where old people live mostly on their own or together with other old people (like nursing homes, or other forms of living maybe with some assistance), against cultures where old people often live with their younger relatives. In the case where they live with younger relatives, those relatives can more easily help them out getting their food and drinks and so on, so that's good, but those people can also more easily pass it on to them because they go outside for supplies more often, so that's bad..

But certainly not in my case... I tried to be the good guy, wanting to get it by myself but they refused. Kept the positive thought 'oh maybe they are affected by COVID so it will be slower'

And when I asked to the customer service just now, they told me that the courier returned the package to the drop point because he saw my house seems empty and did not bother to knock :hairpull:

    • Despite total domination by the Norwegian men (and yes, it's exhausting and boring), the accomplishments this weekend of Emil Iversen and Einar Hedegart are worth highlighting, despite them being Norwegian.    Iversen was dropped by the Norwegian national team after the opener in Beitostølen 2 weeks ago and was not taken to Ruka. Instead, he won both the 10k and 20k Interval Classic starts in Gålå in the Norwegian Cup last week, which granted him a spot on the start line in Trondheim. He took full advantage of that opportunity and finished on the podium in the skiathlon, and finished just off the podium in today's 10k Interval Freestyle. This definitely puts his name in serious contention for a spot on the Olympic team, which looked incredibly doubtful just a few days ago.    Einar Hedegart, the 24-year-old biathlete who decided to challenge the stereotype that biathletes are inferior skiers to their cross-country counterparts, just won the 10k Interval Start against all of Norway's best in a de facto Olympic trial.    Yes, it's exhausting seeing nothing but Norwegian flags on the men's side, but there can be excitement just beneath the surface at times.
