I agree, definitely more concacaf nations should have qualify instead. The tournament is there, and many teams did not have the chance because 3 of them got host spots

Two awfully weak teams (  & ) let into the world cup because of this weird uneven format. And  who are okayish but shouldn't be going either.

 

And oddly enough they have a shot to make the knockouts cuz they will be in some of the weakest groups.

 

 

A side note: in 2017 Italy had two more world cup participations than Argentina. now they're one down.

Absolutely knew it... Scared morons. The fear of not making the WC again led to Italy not making the WC yet again.  I'm astounded how often players and teams forget how to play the game.

Europe, CONCACAF and Africa all have awful qualification systems where luck is a huge factor :/

We're in a golden age for all sports outside of football, so perhaps this is the price? We faced the easiest opponent in history, led 1-0 and were eliminated. It's our fault. Türkiye would probably have beaten Bosnia 1-0 today. They're simply better than us.

Italy can only qualify for the World Cup through the group stage in the future. Play-offs are impossible because the pressure is too great, especially in this format. In the group, we has two clear defeats to Norway – we had to advance there.

What's more, the match was started brilliantly today. Bastoni was a complete disaster. What's more, Bosnia must have had 30 shots on goal. They're simply the worst Italy team ever – worse than Norway, Turkey, or Bosnia.
