Not just a Russian, she is also a convicted doper and a well-known case of a running race walker. She should be uneligible for any kind of records. :p

Lashmanova was like the new sensation... in 2012! It's been so many years I thought she simply retired after her ban and the whole Russian race walking went belly up since then anyway (like the whole event in general). Nobody cares about race walking apart from Latin America & Eastern Europe :p

Didn't know that China, Australia or Japan are Latin America countries and Spain, Portugal or Italy are Eastern Europeans :p

Huh, that’s what Evan Dunfee thought too :p

And in Russia the word “ban” is interpreted very loosely.  Plenty of training facilities and domestic competitions held in the likes of Mezhdurechensk, Votkinsk & Yessentuki, where the eye of Lord Sauron never looks. :mumble:

Vetter was so close to the WR :woot::bowdown:

97.76 m!

Also had 94.84 m, which is also better than anyone else except Zelezyn has ever thrown.
Vetter said that it would have gone over 100 m if it wouldn’t have been in a closed stadium.

Edit: He improved his own German record by 3.32 m.

I feel really sorry for him, he can only lose at this point. Unless he wins Olympic gold next year everyone will say that he messed up.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.
