The Canada vs USA women's hockey final in Sochi, was ridiculous. Canada was losing 2-0 with only a few minutes left, but ended up winning in OT, and with it a 4th straight gold.

This game literally took a year of my life expectancy. Unreal lol.

Reminds me of Spain vs France in 2013 which was a memorable moment for me :p

I had almost forgotten that game!  I thought you were going to select 2014 World Cup QF, which was an impressive victory for France.

Spain-France (basketball) has been the rivalry I have enjoyed the most this decade, just after Nadal-Federer-Djokovic. There have been really good games for both teams!

I wanted to look for the greatest comebacks of the decade. On the web, I mostly found American sports, like baseball or handegg, that I do not follow.

I think this is the best topic to ask. One example in my mind is Formula 1, 2011 Canadian GP, when Jenson Button was in the pits 5 times, hit Alonso, hit teammate Hamilton, got a penalty, with 30 laps to go, he was dead last. Aaaand in the last lap he overtook Vettel for the win.

Can you mention examples of comebacks where a sportsperson dropped back to last, but miracously managed to win?

Simen Hegstad Krueger at PyeongChang 2018 Skiathlon is one hell of a comeback I remember

Arguably the comeback of the decade. Though they Swiss comeback gives Krueger a run for his money.

The Associated Press has named Serena Williams and LeBron James as the athletes of the decade.

    • Entering the middle? It doesn't feel like Winter sport season until the second week of November for me  The middle of the season comes around Wengen and Kitzbuhel.
    • Something you do not see often Kutaisi intentionally tried to not win a match twice in regular time and 2 following extra times and in all 3 times failed   They were supposed to win by 7 points at least to keep their chance to qualify in Eurocup competition alive, so when they could win by 2 they decided to not   That was hilarious I recommend to watch both the ends of 4 quarter and both Extra times

    • Crazy programme for Glenn, from space Definitely the best short programme of the season so far.   78.18, new American record! (NorthAm record was sooo close)

    • it's not difficult when you have such a strict policy to enter or leave the country. Or when you have a dictator that can mask number as he wish, if he can convince their people that a highly censored and restrictive land can host a competition like the Olympic Games, i'm sure he can convince no covid case was detected.   One fun fact is that their guards and border control officers were very serious and strict with people from other nationalities when entering the country, but with us it was very different, they would look at our passport with serious face, look at the country, look at us, start smiling and say "Portugal?? Cristiano Ronaldo!!!!"   This behaviour happened in every single checkpoint in every single Central Asia land. It's like a vip pass in this area of the world
    • I still remember watching the World Junior Championships in Moncton when ES was hyping her unbeaten streak of 100+ races or whatever the number was and she promptly came 2nd in 200m
    • After four weekends of winter sports, we are slowly entering the middle of the winter season . And, as usual, it's time for statistics that I don't know which theared to put in      After 29 events, 20 different NOCs was already on the podium. After several seasons, Uzbekistan is also back on the podium thanks to figure skating (and two former Russians).   This weekend will be all about ice sports, with a total of 13 events: 4 in figure skating (first stage in Europe) and 9 in short track (second stage in Montreal, since SLC was cancelled)
