Good news is that the Glasgow model of a cheaper games seems to have revived interest in hosting from other Member States.

If Nigeria can get a swimming pool, they might be competitive. CGF has been wanting an African host for a while

India should re add triathlon so they can show the IOC they can handle that event in the Olympics.

So is every swimming event just going to be a straight final? We send twice as much to the Olympics. We might as well not even compete in the freestyle relays with those numbers.

 

I know they are trying to save the games, but the biggest draw to the Commonwealth Games was it was a best on best event. Once you start messing with that the games will become an after thought.
