Is there as much discussion in your countries about race walking 'being ridiculous' and 'why is not every single athlete thrown out?' and 'why is this a sport if clearly everyone breaks the rules all the time' and so on? :p

I mean, outside of European/world athletics championships and the Olympics of course nobody here watches a second of race walking, but during those events, it's the exact same discussion every time :p

Race walking is largely seen as a joke event in the United States. There might be a bigger following for cornhole and/or spikeball. The few people aware of it spend a lot time making comments like you said.

:JAM Gaule 8.27 and pushes McLeod off the podium in the last round.

:JAM now has three jumpers with standard (if they already did not). They might be one of only a few nations to pull that off.

You forgot his European Games title. There isn’t an event more important than that in athletics :p
