Olympian1010 7,665 Posted June 19, 2023 #11 Share Posted June 19, 2023 (edited) haven’t entered any athletes in Division 3, so AASSE won’t be in danger of a promotion this year was allowed to enter athletes in 2015, so I’d imagine they’d be allowed to again, but it seems odd that they’re missing. Bah, this is what happens when you allow peninsulas into the Island Games. All of a sudden, they think they’re better than everyone else.
Federer91 2,279 Posted June 19, 2023 #13 Share Posted June 19, 2023 Eagerly awaiting the beginning of our path to relegation Athletics is almost on amateur level here at this point, which is quite fascinating, when you factor in, that once upon a time this country was winning Olympic medals and titles in this sport. It would make a good story to write for a historical perspective.
Grassmarket 2,997 Posted June 19, 2023 #14 Share Posted June 19, 2023 For the Athletics we get the main stream, focussed around the track events, but also there are extra streams for all field events. https://allathletics.tv/championships/ea-team-silesia-2023 Josh

Vektor 3,199 Posted June 20, 2023 #18 Share Posted June 20, 2023 We have pretty much the A-team here, only our best athlete, Bence Halász (hammer throw) is skipping this event. The Hungarian federation is using this team event as the main test for Hungarian athletics before the World Championships in Budapest.
