Anyway, all up early for tomorrow's start!  Looking forward to it.  :IRL expected to apply an :GDR-type steamroller to everyone in Div III in the morning session, :UKR expected to do the same to Div II in the evening.

Here's your results and schedules page - just click on the small Change link to get your local times.  These are usually pretty reliable.

Individual performances could also land athletes on the podium from tomorrow on…figuratively of course, since there won’t actually be any medal ceremonies for the individual events

Was already mentioned in our NOC, that in case (not going to happen obviously) any Slovak will win an athletics medal, it will be delivered to him/her by FedEx as early as 2 days after the event  :p

I’d hope national federations will organise a ceremony in NationalChampionship week.

all medal ceremonies of the individual events will be held at the end of the program of the last day of competition (from 7 to 10 p.m. local time) because, as you wrote, the final individual rankings include all the 3 divisions of the team championship  ;)

No, the EOC has clarified there will be no medal ceremonies for the individual events. Medals will be made available for team representatives to pick up and give/ship to the athletes at their discretion.

From the EOC:

Quote

Due to time constraints and the fact that the athletes from second and third division will not be present anymore in Poland during the first division competitions, there will be no medal ceremonies held at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzow.

Medals, mascots, and diplomas will be ready for collection in the in the Sport Information Centre in AVL Krakow latest on 29 June and they can be picked up by the Chef de Mission, Deputy Chef de Mission, or Proxy Card holder.

    • I still don't know how we lost the match against Poland Can't wait to see the semifinals These matches seems very balanced
    • POL rather won’t qualify for a World Cup.   And we surely won’t qualify in a first stage.    So j just want to see interesting matches and my dream group would be:
    • With the IWF cracking down on doping, North Korea was already the second best nation before Covid. The three-year isolation does make things suspicious.   Considering the IWF is now testing them every time they compete (given their results), they are probably clean now. The IWF is on such a short leash that a scandal like this may kill the federation so I imagine they are keeping a watchful eye on them.
