I believe it's made by an Association of Summer Olympic sports federations... It's rather self explanatory. :p

That does in fact explain the lack of winter sports federations, yes :p

And this is why I despise political corectness

@Dragon knows more about Brundage then I do, but I know he was a well known anti-Semite. He also was the main reason the US attended the 1936 Olympics, even though many athletes, citizens, and leaders favored a boycott of the Games. I believe he also favored the participation of apartheid nations, and turned the Israeli Memorial Service in 1972 into a political spectacle of his own agenda.

He is by far the worst IOC President in history. The IOC also tries to cover up his wrongdoings to save their image.

Avery was a scumbag. You can take 1936 out of play and he was still a bad dude. Guy hated everyone that wasn’t a white male. Not only that but he was never for the athletes. He fought to keep amateurism around until his dying breath. Just not a nice guy.

Who cares? He wasn't remember for his racist position but for his role in the IOC. I really hate this new iconoclastic fury.

  • 4 weeks later...

So far I've seen such things just in a Polish comedy on communism times. That show in favour of Bach is simply outrageous. I think the only voting at today's Session is going to be for canonization of Thomas Bach.
