well, 120 kms in the Mountains are a big distance...it can change a lot (altitude is also different...and counts a lot, too)...

 

however, I posted earlier a link to a 14-day forecast (to be taken for what it is) in Courchevel/Meribel (actually, the closest weather station is in Chambery for both places in that region)...

Yeah, they really could have planned it better. The first two events should have been done by now. Oh well, nowadays I think at least 80% of what I watch is on-demand instead of live, so I'll be fine

Sofia is only starting in the SG stint, just as a warm up for the actual SG race (among the top skiers, Gut is also very unlikely to take part into the slalom race).

 

hope she's not gonna do any disaster...

It's super weird to start the WC on a monday, but this is what happens, when they want to have only 1 event per day. Especially now, when they have 2 resorts hosting, they could have easily grouped the Super-Gs or Combined's in 1 day.
