Prepping for the action to get underway, have stumbled across a couple of quota predictions - presented here for information only and not as a representation of my own expectations :d

:ESP Botin / Trittel

"Likely to Qualify":

:NZL McHardie / McKenzie

:POL Buksak / Wierzbicki

:GBR Peters / Sterritt

:CRO Sime Fantela / Mihovil Fantela

:USA Ian Barrows / Hans Henken

They then have 16 nations fighting it out for the remaining 3 quotas.

Women's 49er FX

"Virtually Certain to Qualify":

:NED Odile Van Aanholt / Annette Duetz

:BRA Martine Gracel / Kahena Kunze

:SWE Vilma Bobeck / Rebecca Netzler

:USA Stephanie Roble / Maggie Shea

"Likely to Qualify":

:ESP Tamara Echegoyen / Paula Barcelo

:BEL Isaura Maenhaut / Anouk Geurts

:NOR Helene Naess / Marie Ronningen

They then have 15 nations who could potentially fill the remaining 3 berths.

I'm quite confident we'll get a quota in Nacra. Some of these duos mentioned are not better than our guys.

That is too much to ask I fear but I find it a bit insulting that whoever wrote this didn't even include the crew among the top 12 lmao

It certainly feels like the writer forgot all about Majdalani/Bosco

With Majdalani/Bosco being ranked 5th in the world, you've got to assume they are going to be there in the mix for a quota.

I don't know enough about current form of the fleet to be confident enough to make my own predictions which is why I went looking for other opinions :d

I understand that only the medal regatta will be coverage by the YouTube federation :mumble:

yes, unfortunately it's only a minimum effort by the sh*tty world sailing...if they can't cover at least their main event happening once every 4 years, they'd be better close everything down... :hairpull:

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
