Farah is too old and it finally shows. His road racing career has been a huge let down and guess he's got nothing else to do in life. Obviously he should retire after failing to qualify for Tokyo :bye:

I'm sure he will retire from serious athletics although he'll probably run a few marathons for the money.

Sorry, but I dont have time to read all those posts wrote today. In short, what happened, about what is this whole disscusion? :d

When I saw that Provocator is again hard at work I did not read back either.

But I assume the discussion has to do with IOC Rule 50

"The IOC's Rule 50 forbids any kind of "demonstration or political, religious or racial propaganda" at venues and any other Olympic area."

In other words, how this rule has to be interpreted (what is a demonstration, political, religious or race related propaganda) and/or whether it is good or not that this rule exists.

Unfortunately his marathon failure was predictable. He won all his great races with a 600m burst: there were always a dozen better even-paced guys.

The IOC are under orders to crack down now because otherwise there will be even more demonstrations in Beijing.  Which will emphatically not be permitted.
