heywoodu 14,901 Posted July 23, 2023 #132 Share Posted July 23, 2023 What a swim for Titmus By the way, does an all-time ranking exist somewhere in swimming? Like World Athletics has this one, where one can see the fastest/best athletes ever (with only everyone's best performance) and the fastest/best performances ever (with multiple performances for athletes): https://worldathletics.org/records/all-time-toplists/sprints/100-metres/outdoor/women/senior Does something similar exist in swimming? So if someone swims, say, 3:56.80, we can say "that's the Xth fastest time ever"? If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Federer91 2,725 Posted July 23, 2023 #133 Share Posted July 23, 2023 Titmus with a WR and a triumphant return to the big stage. And that is a big WR Tokyo nightmares have returned for the others. Ledecky started very slow, but it didn't matter at the end either way. McIntosh sinks, which posts a few questions.
Joshi 123 Posted July 23, 2023 #134 Share Posted July 23, 2023 I'm surprised Fairweather got a medal out of this I was expecting it from the 800 not the 400.
orangeman 1,979 Posted July 23, 2023 #135 Share Posted July 23, 2023 (edited) Summer just trying to fit in with Canadian athletes and finish 4th. Another homegrown disappointment... Probably won't get any golds here. Hopefully can rebound for Paris. Edited July 23, 2023 by orangeman
Vektor 3,325 Posted July 23, 2023 #136 Share Posted July 23, 2023 McIntosh should have stayed in 200 IM instead of this. maestro and dullard

Josh 10,310 Posted July 23, 2023 #139 Share Posted July 23, 2023 First outing under 4:00 for Fairweather, moves her to #5 on the all-time list. maestro
Federer91 2,725 Posted July 23, 2023 #140 Share Posted July 23, 2023 AUS starts with a bang as usual, since the 400 free is as AUS discipline as any. Throw in the 4x100 women's and day 1 is always amongst their strongest. Let's see how long they will keep the lead in the table. dullard
