that was like a silver medal festival for Iran with 2 gold, 8 silver and 1 bronze ! that was great winning 11 medals while we had only 13 athletes in official sports !! only 2 of them failed to win medal. still that was a bit disappointing losing back to back finals. some of these sports (Karate, Sport Climbing, Jujitsu and Compound Archery) will be in the 2018 Asian Games next year, that was important to see where we stand in those non-Olympic sports.

I enjoyed watching few sports at the World Games , nice competition and thanks Poland for being always a great host :yes

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.
