Only sensible decision.  Let’s hope other Feds follow suit - sadly the :USA looks like a lost cause.

The Peoples’ Collective of Revolutionary Cyclists have resolved to proceed with the assault of Mt. Hautacam, where they will redouble their efforts to raise the revolutionary consciousness of the spectating masses.  :afro:

After all the problems & organisational incompetence, the race was called off.

Scary moment in the Tour of Slovenia as Filippo Zana also comes off the road on a fast descent & falls into a gully.  Fortunately, no damage done & he resumes.

The Giro Donne, starting in two days, was about to be cancelled last minute, although it seems it will start. The organization seems to have no idea what they're doing, they're missing 750k and it seems like things will barely even be broadcast anywhere.

Besides, riders are still waiting for the prize money of last year (!), so it's a classic mess in the organization. Without TV images, the race would probably be taken out of the World Tour next year, and honestly, deservedly so. It's always felt a bit messy, and the women's Tour and Vuelta have really dwarfed the Giro Donne in recent years anyway.

    • The Italian team has already achieved a better result than the Chinese team in 2022 at home. The Italian team has made enormous progress since 2023, when we were still losing to Korea and Poland. Of course, this is mainly due to naturalizations, but China did the same. It's one of the few sports that have made significant progress before these Olympics and this is how it should be in most disciplines at home games.
    • change with given the WBC rosters    ps you forgot (I'd put them at no.5, however)
