well i'm always going for underdog players and teams in any sport , but i also support legends of sport especially when they tend to make a comeback, small countries whether in team sports or individuals , i support Germany all the way in football and also in WOG , i cheer for all African countries in any sport , Slovenia in team sports , Canada is among my favorites also . also i tend to support Asian countries in WOG , so yeah i don't think i have certain list of favorite countries or athletes , it depends on my mood before the competition :d

Yeah I always wanted to take French, but people have convinced me to take Spanish ever and ever again. At Spanish is helpful for the Spanish language websites involved in the Pan American Games.

Yep :KAZ and :ISL I cheer for quite a bit. In Oceania :FIJ is my team. In Europe :LIE is my team. In Africa :MRI is my team. In North America :ISV is my team. In South America :ARU is my team.

well I guess it makes sense for US people to learn Spanish, especially if you live in the South

      Shades of 1998 with  and  in the same group but this time it's really a terrible draw for the Thistles. I recall Brazil and Scotland played in the same group in 1974 and 1990 too so that's quite a high probabiliy rate.

      I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.

      One of the worst possible draw for us. Group really easy but having to face  or  in the Round of 32 is devastating.
