To be fair, I guess if it comes down to a choice between a crap performance in the individual with a great performance in the team event or a great performance in the individual and a crap team event, I assume you'd prefer the former rather than the latter.

but tbh, no failures should happen at all in the M + W Foil for Italy...

 

a day like yesterday it's unacceptable under any point of view, because of the overall result and because of how (and often against whom?) our top girls lost their bouts.

Not the greatest start for us in women's foil, but I don't expect much from this team. The ECh will be crucial, we will have to finish above Poland, Germany and Spain to have a chance for the European quota.

the Olympic Ranking is exactly the same of this event, as it was the 1st one of the OQP.
