I had never heard of that but it looks kind of interesting, and I'm digging the Alexander the Great one :d

I believe the official name under the Skopje 2014 project for that statue was "Warrior on a Horse" :d

I think you are the only one who wants :CAN in their group

True, but that might be because I might be the only one that wants the Netherlands in the group instead of usa/mex  (it’s where I live, I like them, so I’m always hoping for POR vs NED matches :d)

:SUI is my backup team so I would find this draw problematic :P

I'm just excited that Canada will even be in the draw tbh, part of me would be really excited if Canada's group ended up being described as the "group of death". Unlikely, but it would be fun. Actually any group will be fun. It's the fucking world cup!

Totally agree.  The fact that we are there is amazing itself.  I will just enjoy watching them pla, and I will be happy.:)

Brazil looks a way better than 2010, 2014 and 2018. I'm very confident this year, Tite is doing a great job and I hope we gonna make at least the semifinals in Catar.

The great thing is that we dont have a "Neymardependence" anymore, and the team plays even better without him.

    • It's hard to believe it was still in this calendar year
    • In last year, we were were happy with Brignone's wins, and today we're excite that della Mea is in the top 10... It's hard to imagine a bigger fall... And Goggia should give up on the giant slalom and focus on the speed events – Vonn isn't wasting time on the giant slalom, but is training for downhill and SG. Goggia last one finished on the podium in the giant slalom in march 2018, and she has no any chance of winning an Olympic medal at the regular competition. It's a waste of time and energy to finish 8th or 9th and risk injury. And we have to accept that without Brignone, we have no chance of winning a medal in the giant slalom in Cortina, and that's it.
    • yeah, just like Anna Trocker earlier Today   I think this is the best way to blow them    they're not ready for the world cup stage yet, but we're so bad right now that our coaches are digging deep
    • Some surprises and fun results so far at this year's Worlds. Like a few minutes ago, when  Harrysson made the 1/8 with another very good performance. Now he plays Jonny Clayton, who this afternoon made a stellar performance in a tough battle with Zonneveld. I don't see an easy match for Clayton, even though on paper he would have wished such an opponent for a 1/8 before the tournament.   Also i'm delighted that my fav Gary Anderson seems to be in good form, though at his age, he is prone to sudden bad matches at any time.
