Please speak for yourself! Why are people on here so desperate?

Because if your on this forum you’re most likely not rolling in ladies (or dudes, that’s perfectly okay too)

VPN Czech ČT Sport, they will cover the whole races from 22:35, or Slovak TV but they will start the transmission at 22:55

no, they're just men of a certain age...and so they have to go to sleep early...

man! the race is going to end at about 3.30 a.m. local time...:hyper:

Now then, I'll pretend to be of a certain age too and follow their example. :old:

I mean, is no one else frankly disgusted that athletes are forced to race in the middle of the night? That is quite awful for spectators too obviously.

I just can't believe that an Olympic sports federation could EVER put their athletes in such position...

Racing during the day would be even more exhausting tbh. But hey, the football World Cup will be held in December and they will play at night too

Wow the „girl“ who won the hammer throw is huge ... she probably ate the Swedish discus thrower ...

This would be funny except for the fact she’s struggled with her body image her entire life :redcard:

Well, seems like German people also use stereotypes :p Obviously hammer throwers wouldn't stand a chance of winning Miss Universe

But then again, it's still 30+ degrees at night.

Racing in such conditions is downright unhealthy. Medical tent looked like one from a war zone yesterday, according to our federation.

yeah, that's the drama of all of us, big men and women...

sometimes you would only like to have a good laugh at this condition, but most likely you are just not in the mood because of all bullying and discrimination you've suffered through your life...

not an easy situation, whatever side of the medal you look at...

Ok, sad to hear that. I think you are still young? so it could still happen for you (if that is your goal), but I don’t get why people here are freaking out over half naked bodies they see on TV. Don’t you guys see something like that every day in real life (at least during the summer)?

Good. If you are fat, then lose weight, otherwise you will always be a burden for society.

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
