The quotes from the sports ministry are certainly less than ideal in terms of attitude, even if I understand the limitations.

Saturday is the first biathlon competition. Brazil's girl for that race was still in Austria.....today. I very much assume they left today, but come on.

"We don't have the money for that" should probably be translated as "We are paying some coaches and federation members so much money we don't have money left to actually support the athletes".

Not them listing the actual home address of an athlete (wont list due to privacy)

I've also now stumbled upon a listed address while looking at bios sport by sport ahead of the Games :zip:

Random question, but does anyone else prefer the results pages of European Games/Pan Am Games compared to Olympics website? Really annoying having to manually press “Sort By Rank” every time I want to view the rankings in order.. There is a positive to it though, the good thing about the Olympics website results page is that you don’t get spoiled with results unless you click on the specific event (unlike the other two)

I forgot what the European Games one looked like and didn't use the Pan Am Games one at all, so hard to say, but there's definitely lots of room for improvement. Like, why does that big green top bar keep scrolling down and cover half the page half the time?

Another good thing is that, unlike with some other results pages, Ctrl + click works to actually open the result in a new page, whereas with some other results pages even holding Ctrl while clicking opens the result you want in the same page, meaning you have to go back to the main schedule after that....which then gets updated with results you don't want to see yet.

That last part will definitely happen if you accidentally refresh before you 'finished' the day, especially team events are going to show the scores of matches on the schedule page. Besides, right now the results/schedule page doesn't even show the times :d

Everything should simply be like for example the FIS website, where you simply see the competition and on the same page a drop-down to available documents, but no results whatsoever, like so :p

Meanwhile the site is a bit broken today I think, besides the missing schedule in the schedule, all the supposedly finished training sessions come back with the same thing:

:TUN won the men's 5th training heat and finished second in the 6th run.

Out of curiousity, and to see the other results: where did you find that? Because this page, which should have the result, is empty:

But both Caufield and Hutson have been tearing it up since the roster was announced, and they are playing in front of Guerin twice to show him what he's missing. The Appellant argues that the FIL unlawfully deprived the IFL of a qualifying place for the 2026 OWG by failing to allocate a remaining qualification place and unlawfully allocating qualification places to athletes granted Individual Neutral Athlete (AIN) status.   The ILF requests that CAS declare a failure to allocate them a qualifying place in violation of the FIL Qualification System.
