Nope, "officially" is not the right world. It was a EB proposal, that need to be approve by the IOC Session.

 

But yeah, boxing will be in LA

probably, yes

world boxing is the new olympic federation recognized by the ioc

iba simply doesn't exist anymore for them (even if right now no sanction is given to Nations still competing at iba events)

Or who participate in the ranking tournaments organised by WB.  Whether those are open to non-members I do not know.

IBA still has many member states.

Ofcourse, no side wants some kind of agreement. 

I dont support IBA but every country should have equal rights to qualify for LA.

    • Here's an update to the potential second placed teams based on the October World Rankings    - I - 9th  - A - 10th  - C - 20th  - H - 24th  - E - 26th  - D  - 27th  - G - 33rd  - J - 34th  - C - 38th  - L - 44th  - A - 46th  - K - 61st  - F - 62nd  - J - 65th  - H - 75th  - B - 84th   Ukraine and Ireland locked up their spots as second place teams. Ireland is currently in Pot 3, but I suspect they will leapfrog Albania in the November rankings which means there's a chance for them to sneak into Pot 2 if other results go their way.   In a worst case scenario, Ukraine would be in Pot 2, but should the favourites pull through they will move into Pot 1.

    • Results now showing what we thought...  in first.  But interestingly, a 0.0 lap for Lap 16 for everyone.  Maybe error in ringing the bell or something?

    • Late changes to the Luge Calendar.  The Igls event has been moved to Winterberg - there has been rebuilding work at Igls and the Luge people were not happy.  Bobsleigh/skeleton OTOH are fine with it.   The test event at Cortina in two weeks time has been upgraded to one of the races counting in the Olympic Qualifier series.     Olympic Test Event in Cortina upgraded: First qualifying race for Mila    
    • People I don't envy: The Japanese selection committee...how are they going to pick only three women?  They have so many great skaters!
    • Great result for the Canadian men! Weidemann just got promoted from the B division today and finished 4th!
