Yeah that's even worse. The sports should be confirmed at least like 6-7 years before the Olympics and the actual program really should be confirmed before the preceding Olympics. I know they don't, but they really should.

Absolutely no surprise. I have been saying for 2 years now, that boxing will be in LA 28, regardless how they'd formulate, organize it etc.

What the IOC mentioned was Boxing had the highest ratio of countries winning medals to the countries participating, ofc it was gonna return

So like when the fuck is the IOC announcing the event program for LA? Has to be soon given they want federations to start drafting their qualification systems in April.

And, you know, athletes need to plan their programs....it's so ridiculous for this to still not be clear barely three years before the Olympics. Athletes should at the very least be going into Olympics already knowing what the program will be for the next.
